Absolute Poker and Holywodd Hooters team up for Free Poker Academy Event

Free online poker site AbsolutePoker is teaming up with Hooters to present players from California area a new edition of its world famous AbsolutePoker.net Poker Academy in Hollywood. The free event will take place at Hollywood's Hooters on February 25th starting at 7:00 pm.
The event will be hosted by poker pro Matt Vengrin, who will offer attendees free poker tips while they enjoy free wings and beer. Poker fans will have the chance to put their skills on the line and compete at on-site tables or play against a world of online poker players at one of several on-site AbsolutePoker.net gaming terminals.
"I'm all about trying new stuff to increase the appeal of poker. This is one of the first of many new things I will be doing to help bridge the gap between the poker world and the world outside of poker." said Vengrin.
In addition to Matt Vengrin, Absolute Poker sponsored pros Trishelle Cannatella and Lacey Jones will also attend the event.
