500 K Play Chip $40 Freeroll on Full Tilt
- 3-5-2008
When I
first saw this I said to myself: "yeah and who’s going to build a play
chip bankroll?" Then I looked at the highlighted blue 10/25 K play chip
table with a player sitting down with 20 Million. Play chip poker is a way to
see cards, and not have to worry about losing your green; or in this case
digits in your cashier. They can be fun sometimes. However unless you
move up the stakes, the game can be 1. Slow and  2. Full of the worst players you have ever
seen. If indeed one does build a full tilt poker play chip bankroll, well look
no further than what I am about to present you. Every night Full
Tilt Poker hosts a $40 Play Chip freeroll in which the buy in is 500,000
play chips. Sounds generous right? Of course it is! The MTT
freeroll occurs during late hours, and usually has around 40-60 players in
it. Those with huge play chip bankrolls often play in this freeroll every
night, in search for a catalyst to get a BR started on FTP.
First place is 5 dollars.
Second place is 4.
It may seem a little cheesy; however what poker site honestly does this on a nightly
basis? I applaud Full Tilt Poker for offering this freeroll. Why am
I offering my applause? Play chip players pay no rake, usually have never
deposited, and don’t do anything for FTP. FTP does not make a cent off of
any play money play (Hence: "play money"). And since this is true:
they still reward them for playing on there site.ÂÂ
Last night
I was up watching this 40 dollar play chip freeroll. When I was chatting
away I asked the chip leader a few questions. When I pondered the idea of how
long the poker tournament might take he said probably an hour and a half to two
hours. I mean, with only 45 people - it cannot go one forever. My next
goal was to ask them how to quickly start a play chip bankroll, so I could give
advice to the WDIAV forum. He told me something I won’t forget for
awhile.
"Play chips are meaningless. You can reload, dump them out, or even donk
them away without saying "NOO!" But, if you’re serious about
starting a play money bank roll, play as if it were real money.
Start small then work your way up.
When I asked him how long it took him to get to four million play chips he told
me only a year. He ended up taking 2 bucks home that night. All for play chips,
which btw- he won back seconds after his buy in on a $10/$25 K table. This is a
great promotion from Full Tilt Poker, and I advise everyone to check it out.

I once had 400m and sold 320m and I now play real money
I haven't seen that option in the cashier window of fulltilt.
Is it chip dumping on an empty table?
Thanks.
