2008 World Series of Poker Europe schedule revealed

The schedule for the second annual World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) for 2008 was just announced by Harrah's Entertainment. According to the tournament’s organizers, Season 2 will feature four bracelet tournaments, including the new GBP 1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event that will be opening the tournament. Also, this will be the first time that ESPN will be airing eight hours of coverage of the World Series of Poker Europe in the United States and distribute the poker tournament in other countries as well.

- September 19th, 2008 - Event #1 - GBP1,500 - No-Limit Hold'em Day 1A (3-day event/2 opening days)
- September 22nd, 2008 - Event #2 - GBP 2,500 - H.O.R.S.E. (3-day event)
- September 24th, 2008 - Event #3 - GBP 5,000 - Pot Limit Omaha (3-day event)
- September 27th, 2008 - Event #4 - GBP 10,000 - World Championship No-Limit Hold'em (5-day event/two opening days)
