At the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles the WPT event ended today. Rising to win it is the class in the field and the man who wrote the book on Tournament Hold’em. Dan Harrington won with a field of 425 players and 4 days of play, in the end it came down to Harrington and Pham, but it was Dan Harrington who won the WPT Legends of Poker event, as well as $1.6 million in prize money. David Pham was the short stack coming into the final table with six players as was able to take second. Besides the $1.6 million in prize money, Dan Harrington also receives a $25,000 WPT championship event seat, and a $10,000 seat at the 2008 Legends of Poker.
