Go Daddy joins NBC for Heads-Up Poker Championship

Officials of NBC and the Heads-Up Poker Championship, have recently informed that Go Daddy has signed as one of the sponsors for the tournament scheduled to begin airing next Sunday, April 12th on NBC.     ÂÂ
“We couldn’t be more pleased to have GoDaddy.com as our presenting sponsor for this amazing event. Everyone knows Go Daddy only aligns itself with major sporting events and we are thrilled to be partnered on our National Heads-Up Poker Championship.â€Âsaid Jon Miller, executive vice president of NBC Sports.
Before the tournament officially started in March, Go Daddy, which is the biggest hosting domain registrar in the world, announced that it reached a agreement with Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso to sponsor the player during the 2009 Heads-Up Poker Championship, which features 64 of the best professional poker players and celebrity guests in a head-to-head battle for the $1.5 million prize money.
“Vanessa is, as they say, all in with Go Daddy baby. She brings everything you’d want to the table – she’s intellectually brilliant, sexy and as savvy a poker player as you’re going to see.â€ÂGo Daddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons said during the event held at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Go Daddy recorded a series of poker themed commercials during the event which are set to air during the Go Daddy sponsored broadcasts on NBC. Previous sponsorship deals included the IndyCar Series driver, Danica Patrick, and the professional golfer/model, Anna Rawson.
The broadcast times for the 2009 National Heads-Up Poker Championship on NBC are the following.
April 12: Noon - 2PM ET
April 19: Noon - 1PM ET
April 26: Noon - 2PM ET
May 3: Noon - 2PM ET
