Three card poker is an easy and relatively profitable casino game, the game was originally created by poker player Derek Webb in the 90’s and rapidly became a popular casino game. The game is a derivation from the English game called Three Card Brag and it is also known as Tri-Card Poker or Poker Three. The game basics are quite simple; you place a bet, receive a three-card hand and get paid according to your hand. The dealer's hand is not relevant since there is no raising and no discarding. Cards are dealt from a standard 52 card deck and hands are ranked from highest to lowest: Straight Flush, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Pair, Nothing.  A pair pays 1 to 1, a flush pays 4 to 1, a straight pays 6 to 1, three of a kind pays 30 to 1 and a straight flush pays 40 to 1.

The second game gets a little more complicated and is based more on the traditional Three Card Poker game. After viewing your hand you can decide if you want to fold and lose your ante bet, or call, which means you place another bet that equals your ante and then you go up against the dealer's hand, which also consists in three cards facing down. Playing both games is not a mandatory rule, but always consider that if fold your ante, you will also lose your Pair Plus bet even if you have a winner’s hand. The dealer needs a Queen or better to qualify. If the dealer fails to qualify, you win your ante bet and the play bet is returned. If the dealer qualifies and you do not beat him, you lose both your ante and play bet. There are also bonus antes that can be won as a straight pays 1 to 1, three of a kind pays 4 to 1 and a straight flush pays 5 to 1.
